Shipping and Handling Information

Our centralized location provides faster shipping. We typically can get an item in your hands within 3-5 business days. We primarily use US Postal Service (USPS.com) for most domestic orders which offers about 2-4 business days delivery time but if you are near MN then your item will arrive sooner. For larger items UPS and FedEx Service may be used. Shipping exceptions will be specified on the items page under 'Availability' if the item is on backorder or will take longer to deliver.

What is BASTENS shipping policy?

I ship most USA orders via USPS mail and since I am in central USA Minnesota this means continental packages will get to you in about 3 days while international packages vary from 7-10 days. Grand total transit time for continental USA orders should be only 4-7 days!

Note that each product page has an 'Availability' notation, please refer to this in case we have back-ordered or delayed items. I typically ship all items via the United States Postal Service with tracking. You will be emailed tracking once the item is shipped.

To calculate your shipping before ordering, add the item to the shopping cart as if you are placing the order, then enter only your zip code in the address field of the order page and click the "apply" button. You will see the shipping, tax and total for your order and can then proceed to order if you wish by filling out the rest of the information including payment method and clicking continue at the bottom of page.

Does BASTENS ship internationally?

No, I am a small business not setup to ship internationally. I only ship to USA customers addresses.

What is BASTENS privacy policy?

BASTENS.com will not sell or distribute any of your personal information to anyone. This includes email address, phone number, etc. Our online store is hosted by Shopify, to view thier policy please continue to here

What is BASTENS return policy?

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. We will pay the return shipping cost if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc).

LiPo batteries are warrantied against DOA (dead on arriaval), please check and charger the battery immediately upon receiving. This ensures the battery arrived in working condition. Because we cannot ensure prpoer use of LiPo batteries (use of 'low voltage detecive' circuits in your ESC, etc) then we cannot warranty a used batteries. Keep in mind batteries don't just magically go bad. Once a battery is verified on arrival with proper care your battery should last hundreds of cycles and years to come.

A more efficient approach is to setup a return and in the mean time place a new order for the new item.

Who pays for the shipping on a defective item or return shipping fees for an RMA?

We pay the shipping on orders resulting from our error. In the situation the customer changed their mind then the customer is solely responsible for any shipping costs incurred for returning a product to BASTENS warehouse.

What is BASTENS warranty policy?

Your BASTENS product is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship when new. Please return products to the dealer where the purchase was made. If your BASTENS product purchase was made through a dealer, any warranty issues must be taken care of by that retailer. From that point on, the retailer will contact us if they find your claim to be valid.

BASTENS have the final say in the determination of all warranty claims. This warranty does not cover damages due to normal wear and tear, users' failure to perform routine maintenance, error of assembly or installation, modification, and compatibility with other aftermarket brands. Any modification to BASTENS product parts will void the warranty. If the product does not appear as if it will assemble correctly, please [click here to contact us]. This warranty lasts as long as the original purchaser owns the product and is not transferable (verified by dated itemized sales receipt accompanied with product).

In the event of a defect under this warranty, BASTENS will, at our discretion, repair or replace the product, provided our inspection indicates that an original defect exists. BASTENS reserves the right to replace any product which is no longer available with a product of comparable value and function. If BASTENS determines the repair is not covered under the warranty guidelines, there could be a charge applied for the repair and return shipping charges.

Note: Purchasing products from unauthorized distributors may void warranty and prevent support and service.

What is BASTENS Lifetime Warranty?

We require the customer must contact BASTENS customer service directly for warranty replacements. BASTENS’ band products are custom engineered and carefully built to our specification and standards. We are proud to offer BASTENS warranty on BASTENS brand products marked with a 'lifetime warranty' in the product description. BASTENS’ warranty are for the original purchaser and guarantees that all of our cabling products are free from defect in materials and workmanship for the life of the product. We reserve the right to ask for you to mail the item to use at your cost, send us a picture of the broken item, or other verification methods we feel necessary on a case by case basis. If, after inspection, we find that the product was defective in materials or workmanship, we shall repair or replace it free of charge. Any product that has reached the end of its product lifetime (End-of-Life) or discontinued shall no longer be covered this warranty. We extend this warranty to direct-to-consumer purchases from BASTENS 's website or any of our approved vendors such as, but not limited to: Amazon, eBay, etc. Purchases made in bulk or with discounts may not be subject to warranties; reference your purchase agreement for further details. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, improper care or alteration and excludes claims for incidental or consequential loss.
